Mardi Gras is French for Fat Tuesday or Shrove Tuesday and it is the last day of feasting before Lent begins on Ash Wednesday.   Mardi Gras is a reminder that we are entering a season of penance.  This was originally a solemn day but over the centuries, Shrove Tuesday took on a festive nature in anticipation of the Lenten fast.  In line with the festive, nature, we will be having our traditional Mardi Gras celebration.  Your RSVP by February 22nd assures that we order enough food.   Tables of 8 ticket sales can be purchased in order to sit with family and friends.
